Spanish 4- THE ONE WITH THE CONNECTION

This course is designed to build upon the skills already acquired in Level 5/6.   Students will continue to progress toward a higher level of proficiency in the target language.  They will deepen their understanding and their ability to convey information about art, history, literature, music, current affairs, career choices, the environment and social issues.   Students will expand their use and understanding of connected sentences and short paragraphs when speaking, reading and writing.  Cultural and linguistic understanding will be increased through the use of authentic sources (reading, video, audio, Internet) and the study of the products, practices, and perspectives of the Spanish speaking world.

Spanish AP - THE ONE WITH THE ADVANCE SETTINGS

Advanced Placement Spanish Language is similar to third year university courses that focus on advanced speaking and writing in Spanish. The course is organized thematically, with authentic listening, reading, writing and speaking activities focusing on a unifying theme.  Grammar instruction is related to the theme as appropriate.  The class seeks to develop the language skills necessary to take the AP Spanish Language exam, which students are expected to take in May.
